How it works:
- Scanner device reads bar code information
- Processing unit takes geographic coordinates from GPS receiver
and packs information in short text message
- Mobile module sends the message to a pre-set address (by e-mail
or over wireless link)
When to use:
- Store and warehouse management: While managing and tracking
items in and between stores and warehouse locations, bar code
tracking terminal allows to account for and geographically pinpoint
the merchandise marked with bar code. Operator can notify the
system about arrival and location of cargo. Terminal can be customized
to send data in suitable format for easy processing by existing
software.
- Transportation and wholesale trade: Mobile bar code
terminal can be used both for tracking big packages of merchandise
and for billing the customer. It's also very useful for locating
the items presumed to be lost during transportation.
- Spare parts and service: Bar coding of items and tracking
them with mobile device is convenient during assembly and repair
work to ensure the availability of necessary components and checking
the status of work.

to collect results of public opinion polls or market investigations.
